Pantai Luar is a traditional treatment from East Asia, known for its deeply relaxing and revitalizing properties. It's a unique method where heated cloth bags with bound herbs and fresh ingredients such as lime, coconut and Pantai spices are used to massage the entire body.
How the treatment works
During the treatment, our experienced massage therapist Monica uses the heated herbal bags with precise and gentle pressure on the body.
The herbal bags are heated in oil that reaches a temperature of 130 degrees and used in a special technique called "touch and go". The method stimulates the skin without causing a burn and first activates the body's natural alarm system and then "triggers" the body to relax. The result is a calmed nervous system.
The heat from the herbal sachets increases blood circulation and relieves tension in the muscles, while the warm oil and ingredients - especially the coconut oil and lime acid - work together to nourish the skin and stimulate cell renewal. The result is a gentle exfoliation that leaves skin soft, smooth and nourished.
